The purpose of this study was to explore problems related to orientation program for newly hired employees of franchise stores. Franchising, as a new business model in Taiwan, has become very popular in recent years. Although franchising can increase the likelihood of profits and reduce risks for franchisees, effectiveness of operation for franchise stores still mainly depends on successful transfer of core knowledge and skills to franchisees and employee hired. Therefore, by taking a close look at the ZhenQuo Café in Taiwan, the result of this study not only identified problems related to orientation programs associated with new employees of franchise stores, but also tried to increase effectiveness of training and education and quality of services for franchise stores. |
