In accodance with eh Food Safety Law, the paper explores Chinese consumer's evaluation on food safety supervision and management as well as the main factors affecting it through various explorations and interviews. Drawbacks on food safety supervision and risk communication in China, in line with research results and the newly revised the Food Safety Law, enacted in 1995, are analyzed so as to put forward better measures with the advanced experience learned frome foreign countries. To be specific, full understanding of the congnitive factors of local consumers in the fundamental principle for good risk communication. The study of these issues is of importance in better implementing the law, increasing regulation effciency and setting up risk communication mechanism. |
