Sudden outbreaks and emerging communicable diseases post challenges in collecting epidemiological information of the fixed-designed system. In addition, the excessive work and pressure associated with epidemic-prevention results in a high turnover rates among local staff which led to loss of valuable practical experiences in combating epidemics. In response to sudden outbreaks of communicable diseases, an epidemiological investigation system capable of integration and individualization with great flexibility would enable the epidemic-prevention personnel to collect epidemiological survey data of individuality and specificity in a timely fashion, and to download data and perform analysis later on. |
