Faced with the impact of sudden outbreaks and emerging communicable diseases, the current system is not able to assist with the collection of epidemiological data of diseases of unique characteristics. In addition, the excessive amount of work and pressure associated with epidemic-prevention results in a high turnover rates among local epidemic-prevention personnel and consequent loss of valuable practical experiences in combating epidemics. In response to sudden outbreaks of communicable diseases, an epidemiological data survey system capable of integration and individualization with great flexibility would enable the epidemic-prevention personnel to collect epidemiological survey data of individuality and specificity in a timely fashion, and to download data and perform analysis later on. |
