Screening Assessment of Self-Management for IDDM Patients

本研究最主要的目的在於建立胰島素依賴型糖尿病（IDDM）病患的自我照顧評估工具之信度、效度，以及了解IDDM病患在家庭生活之自我照顧情形。本研究採量性研究法，研究對象為參加81年度康泰基金會所舉辦之體檢的個案，在體檢過程中安排由個案（n=100）或其家屬填寫評估表後，再由護理師採半結構訪談方式進行評估。評估工具在護理師方面的一致度為0.94（n=25）病患之再測一致度為0.88。本研究初步了解病患或家屬居家照顧中較感困難的部分，與所需之醫療服務，並比較由病患或家屬與護理人員所評出之相同或相異之管理，以提供護理人員在病床服務及日後相關研究之參考。

The purpose of this study aimed to construct the reliability and validity of screening assessment of self-management for IDDM patients. A quantitative research method was employed in the study. One hundred subjects were recruited from the participants of physical examination activity held by Kang-Tai foundation in 1992. Assessment forms were completed by clients or their family members, and were also assessed by nursed using with a semi-structured interview method. The inter-rater agreement of nursing specialists was 0.94 (n=25), the test-retest agreement was 0.88 from clients’ aspect. The results showed certain difficulties existed in the daily lives of clients and their families, and demonstrated the needed service. A comparison of similarity & discrepancy from clients’ or nurses’ perspectives was reported in this study. The results could be applied in clinical service and relevant further study.
