Nowadays, the internationalization of heinous crimes become one of the most significant societal security issues in the whole world. In order to prevent and to prosecute for those heinous crimes efficiently, both 'international legal assistance or aid in criminal matters' and 'exchange of information and intelligence' turn to be universal. However, further researches are essential especially under the following three topics: What are the differences between these two mechanisms? Whether its application principles are the same? Moreover, what are the legal outcomes under different criminal justice systems? Meanwhile, these mechanisms might infringe people's privacy, so that each scheme should be framed seriously. Finally, this research will also discuss the related contents in the newly-revised 'Guidelines of Cross-Strait Exchange of Information and intelligence' as this─ project's conclusion. |
