南太平洋地緣政治的法國因素

The French Factor in the South Pacific Geopolitics

從地緣政治的角度觀察，歐洲各國實在很難與太平洋共享政治與經濟利益。因為，歐洲的西邊是太平洋，東邊是亞洲大陸，其中間又隔著許多強權如同美國、俄國、印度與中國等等。但在歷史上，歐洲強權於15 世紀開始稱霸海洋世界之後，太平洋也逐漸由當年南島文化所掌控的海洋轉移為歐洲所主宰。葡萄牙與西班牙是第一批來自歐洲的外來強權，隨後，荷蘭、德國、英國、法國、日本與美國也加入賽局。在經歷第二次世界大戰與冷戰之後，目前掌控太平洋的大國勢力則剩下美國、法國、澳洲與紐西蘭。本文將嘗試以地緣政治的角度分析歐洲最後的勢力法國在南太平洋地區的強權角色扮演。
