防晒油、膏類化粧品中p-Aminobenziocacid或其ester之鑑別及含量測定之調查檢驗

INVESTIGATION ON THE CONTENTS OF P-AMINOBENZOIC ACID AND ITS ESTER IN THE SUNSCREEN PRODUCTS

過度的曝晒在紫外光下，會易導致皮膚慢性變質和皮膚癌，由於使用防晒劑可減少其傷害程度，以致防晒劑之市場迅速成長。而在眾多種類之防晒劑中，以 p-Aminobenzioc acid 類之防晒劑之防晒效果最佳。為了解市售品質及與核准是否相符或未經許可擅自加入等情形，於75年7月抽購25件檢體。首先以 FRAGRANCE JOURNAL SPACIAL ISSUE 中之薄層層析法鑑別，取檢體1克加甲醇2ml加溫溶解上清液當做檢液，另取標準品 p-Aminobenzioc acid 及 Octyl dimethyl p-Aminobenzioc acid（以下簡稱 PABA 及 Octyl dimethyl PABA） 各100mg 各加甲醇10ml，作為標準溶液，分別點於 Kieselgel 60 F254 之薄層層析板上，以 n-Hexane：Isopropyl ether：Acetic acid （70:30:1） 為展開溶媒，於波長 254nm 之紫外光燈下觀察所呈現之斑點及 Rf值，若檢品溶液之 Rf值與標準品所現之 Rf值相同，再以高效液相層析法定量。

Due to the rapid growth of the sunscreen products recently, 25 case samples were investigated to study whether any product contain p-Aminobenzoic acid or tis ester or not. It was found that three of twenty-five samples (ie 12%) weren't licensed. Among them, however, two samples couldn’t meet the requirement (below 4%) after being analysed by a high performance liquid chromatographic method.
