Rather than discuss how to conduct holistic health, this article seeks to view holistic health from a distance. First of all, it looks back at examples of the terms, “holistic,” and, “health,” that appear in history, and shows the evolution of the “health concept.” Secondly, it focuses on the WHO’s definition of health – “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being” paying special attention to social wellbeing. By observing the symptoms of the medicalized society, it considers the possibility of conducting holistic health. |
