由醫院臨床的觀點談SARS的防治－－以某醫學中心為例

Management and Prevention of SARS in Hospitals: The Example of a Medical Center

嚴重急性呼吸道症候群（SARS）是新興傳染病，主要傳給病患家屬與醫療工作者。面對日增的病患，進行預防與照護是臨床護理最迫切重要的事項。進行預防與照護是臨床護理最迫切重要的事項。本文目的在介紹SARS，並以醫院的情境說明對SARS病人的護理，如何執行防護措施，及對院內交互感染之因應而達到照顧者自我保護及病患照護的目的。

SARS is a new, highly infectious disease, which mainly infects families and health care givers. Facing the increasing number of cases, how to prevent and manage SARS is the most urgent issue in clinical nursing practice. The purpose of this paper is to describe what SARS is, how a medical center takes care of SARS patients, how to apply SARS isolation precautions, and how to cope with nosocomial infection, to accomplish the goals of self-protection and patient care.
