從一 例「痰火內發」型中風患者的診治經驗談起

Treatment for Stroke Patient with the Syndrome of Phlegmatic-Fire Internal Development

本例患者由內科病房收住後，先由西醫神經內科及復健科，給予點滴、注射並復健治療，前後近半個月，仍左半身不遂，未見明顯改善，家屬乃於3月3日，請求中醫科會診；當時中醫科由住院醫師賴醫師及筆者本人配合針灸治療，患者雖經配合復健及針灸治療，然而左手足恢復情況，迄不能令患者及其家屬滿意。嗣後乃由本人另行開立水藥處方配合服用，服水藥前後不到一個月，患者已能下床行走，並於當年4月3日出院。可見對於實證的中風病患，適時採取清熱降火、瀉其痰濁的方法，對於提高療效、縮短療程，有其不可忽視的價值。

After receiving a-half-month neurology and rehabilitation treatment in western medicine, this patient was still paralyzed on left side. On March 3rd, he started to receive acupuncture therapy in addition to rehabilitation treatment. But, the improvement was limited. After then, the author started to take water-medicine additionally. After one month, he could walk and discharged from hospital on April 3rd.
