The purpose of this study was to access the effects of nutrition education intervention on nutrition knowledge, attitude and dietary behavior for 5th-6th graders in Hsinchu county (n = 1594). The intervention outcomes were measured by questionnaires administered before (pre-test) and a week after the intervention (post-test). Following the educational intervention, a significant increase in nutrition and girls indicating that boys' and girls' scores improved similarly from pre-test to post-test. Moreover, and behavior before and after education intervention. More importantly, when ANCOVA analysis was utilized to control the confounding factors, the results revealed that the mean post-test scores for scores for all variables was noted among students of different area groups.
