照顧一位胃癌接受全胃切除手術病患之護理經驗

Nursing Experience for A Gastric Adenocarcinoma Patient with Total Gastrectomy

本文探討一位胃癌接受全胃切除手術病患之護理經驗。照顧期間自2013年2月19日至2013 年3月7日，筆者以觀察、會談及病歷查閱等方式收集資料，並運用Gordon十一項功能性健康 型態評估，確認個案主要之護理問題有：營養不均衡：少於身體需要、知識缺失及無望感。筆者依個案之個別性提供術後照顧、衛教指導及院內資源轉介，維持個案所需熱量、增進照顧知識並對未來抱持希望。期望此護理經驗能提供日後照顧此類病患參考。

The purpose of this article was to explore a nursing experience for a gastric adenocarcinoma patient with total gastrectomy. From February 19 to March 7, 2013, data were collected through observation, interview, and chart review according to Gordon's 11 functional health patterns. The nursing problems identified included imbalanced nutrition: less than body requirements, deficient knowledge, and hopelessness. By providing individual post-operative care, health information, and resource referral, the author helped the patient maintain the required calorie, increase the care knowledge, and hold the hope for the future. Hopefully, this nursing experience can serve as a reference for the care of such patients.
