英文摘要 |
The purpose of this article was to explore a nursing experience for a gastric adenocarcinoma patient with total gastrectomy. From February 19 to March 7, 2013, data were collected through observation, interview, and chart review according to Gordon's 11 functional health patterns. The nursing problems identified included imbalanced nutrition: less than body requirements, deficient knowledge, and hopelessness. By providing individual post-operative care, health information, and resource referral, the author helped the patient maintain the required calorie, increase the care knowledge, and hold the hope for the future. Hopefully, this nursing experience can serve as a reference for the care of such patients. |
