兩岸土木營建院系共同指導研究生案例

Case Study of Cooperative Advising Graduate students from Civil Related Departments of Both Sides of Taiwan Straight

朝陽科技大學理工學院與佛山科學技術學院環境與土木建築學院於2014年5月簽訂聯合培養碩士學位研究生協議書，兩位碩士級研究生於2015年9月來朝陽進行一學期之短期研修，其中一位學生之研究論文與橋墩碰撞損傷之無損檢測評估相關，由兩岸教授共同指導：在佛山科學技術院施作橋墩撞擊實驗，而學生在朝陽科大學習無損檢測相關原理、試驗及分析方法，並於回佛山後應用所學進行受損橋墩之檢測。期待未來將產出第一篇兩校共同指導之碩士論文，以及發表相關研討會或期刊論文著作。本篇將就兩校簽訂合作協議的歷程，及學生在朝陽學習及目前回佛山繼續接受越洋指導的歷程，及指導學生心得做一分享，並說明未來兩校進一步合作之規劃。

An agreement of joint training of master student between College of Science and Engineering of CYUT and School of Environmental and Civil Engineering of Foshan University was signed in May, 2014. Two of the master students visited CYUT for a semester from September, 2015. The research topic of one student is related to using the non-destructive test (NDT) to evaluate bridge pier severely damaged by collision of truck or ship. The student learned the theoretical background of related NDT method, the way to conduct experiments and data analysis method in CYUT. After returning, the student conducted experiments on the test piers in Foshan using the technique taught in Taiwan. The first master thesis is going to be accomplished through joint advising. Conference paper or journal paper is expected to be published in the near future. This article reports the processes of how to formulate the joint training agreement as well as advise student in Taiwan and abroad. Possible plans for the future cooperation are also given.
