Estimation for the Demand and Supply of Passive Samplers Used in Workplace

為掌握被動式採樣器在國內的需求與供應。本研究從六大行業16451家事業單位中抽樣完成465家問卷訪視，用以推測需要環境測定的人次／年以及被動式採樣器現階段的需求；並且由美、德、日等國6家製造廠在台的4家代理商取得被動式採樣器上市產品的資料及其在台銷售狀況。結果認為六大行業環境需求約近於10萬人次，但現階段之被動式採樣器在事業單位的年需求量可能不到200個，主要是應有機蒸氣環境測定之需，而供應商於1992~1993年間銷售的主要對象為研究機構，主力產品為適用於有機蒸氣者，其中適用化學物有47種為作業環境測定實施辦法規定者；供需之間的差距受數個因素左右，政府機關機構對被動式採樣器的態度可能會是最具決定性的因子。

In order to realize the demand and supply of passive samplers, a questionnaire was used to collect data for estimating the demand in terms of person-number per yeat for the needs of environmental measurement in workplace in Taiwan, R.O.C. The samples were 407 factories out of 16451 enterprises in trades. Information about the products and market sell was obtained from four Taiwan business agents of six manufactures in U.S.A., Germany and Japan. The results lead to a predication that the annual need for environmental measurement is about hundred-thousand person-number in six trades. The products of passive samplers available in the Taiwan market were mainly of organic vapor monitors which match 47 chemicals listed in the Regulation of Environmental Measurement in the Workplace in R.O.C. The products mainly circulated in the research institutes; the actural market sell to enterprises during 1992-1993 was only about 200 pieces. The differences between demand and supply is likely due to several factors, but the governmental attitude to the passive samplers is the most probable determinant.
