省立屏東醫院實施臨床路徑之個案研究

A case study of Applying clinical pathway at the Provincial Ping－Tung Hospital

本文旨在敘述省立屏東醫院實施腹股溝疝氣臨床路徑的經驗，其目的乃是在推行過程中找出成功要素，提供同業施行仿效之參考。其方法乃利用載明管理循環原則的四大步驟：計劃、執行、檢討與修正，實施結果證實臨床路徑在醫療照護上，對於手術作業住院流程的標準化，不僅能使病患及其家屬先知悉手術住院流程而安心，而且對醫療管理的降低成本和提升品質與效益均有顯著的貢獻。

This paper addressed a case of clinical pathway at the provincial Ping－Tung hospital in Taiwan. Its purpose is to study those processes relating to key success experience for reference. The method used the principle of Deming cycle which includes four steps such as plan、do、check and action. The final results from research work found two main benefits. One is to make patient’s confidence before inpatient for operation. The other is good for the hospital management in several aspects for example: increasing efficiency、downsizing cost and shifting effectiveness.
