This research select 385 directors of medical centers, regioaland district hospitals, and 106 effective samples are recovered(recovery rate 27.5%).Presented occpation role and operating strategy are concemed with personal condition discrepancies in hospital’s directors and different organization character of hospitals. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship among hospital's organization character, director's occupation role and hospital's operating strategy. This questionnaire is developed and evaluated by the author, and answered by directors of hospitals. The results are discovered: (1) It is likely that director's personal conditions are not related to their own occupation roles. Nevertheless, their managerial strategy is obviously not the same. For example, younger directors prefer to use higher risk managerial strategy. (2) The discrepancy of hospital's organization character is able to affect the representation of directors in occupation role and the determination in managerial strategy. For example, mostly directors in private hospitals are belong to the type of profit domination. Namely, they adopt more highly active strategy that is compared with the performance in public hospitals. Directors at medical centers have a preference for high risk managerial strategy also is considered. |
