The initial concept of Industry 4.0 has been widely increased and enriched since its first introduction in Germany. A new and rather inclusive term “Productivity 4.0” has been used in Taiwan instead, so that the systematic innovation related with industrial production could be widely applied to service industry as well. Ta-Hwa University of Science and Technology (hereafter short as Ta-Hwa) has continuously proposed the Integrative Manufacturing and Commerce Curriculum (short as IMCC) since 2000. These projects are jointly financed by Ta-Hwa and government fund, thanks to the promotion of teaching infrastructure and skill improvement in university by the Ministry of Education. (short as MOE). Main purpose of these IMCC-related projects is first to integrate the faculty and teaching effort of four participant departments in Ta-Hwa and to formulate course structure, lab requirements, and on-line teaching supplementary materials, which are all indispensable in the preparation for new IMCC Program. |
