應用三度空間人體掃瞄技術於皮表面積模式之探討

The Measurement of Indigenous Adult Body Surface Area Using 3D Scanning Technology

皮表面積（Body Surface Area, BSA）的估計已被應用在許多不同的領域上，例如熱環境中的熱壓力指標計算，尤其在醫學界的臨床使用上更是不勝枚舉。由於我國並無相關的皮表面積預估模式可供使用，我們希望能建立一套有效的估計模式可供未來我國高溫作業環境的危害預防指標或醫學研究之用。本研究針對 1100 名受試者（男性 521 名、女性 579 名，年齡介於 19~65 歲之間） ，利用三度空間（3-D; 3-dimensional）人體掃瞄技術，以幾何光學的掃瞄與投射原理來取得人體三度空間約 200000 個表面點座標，再利用電腦輔助將點座標資料轉換成所需要的皮表面積數值。我們隨機抽取其中 800 位樣本（男性 387 名、女性 413 名） ，並使用非線性迴歸分析來配適一套值得國人參考的預測模式，依變數為皮表面積，自變數為身高及體重，並利用最小平方法來估計其參數。此估計模式為 BSA(m2 ) = 0.011875×Ht(cm) 0.5739 ×Wt(kg) 0.4514 ，R-square = 0.9687。我們並利用其餘 300 位樣本的資料來比較此估計模式與其它國外學者已提出的各種模式的正確性，結果顯示國外的估計模式對於國人的皮表面積會產生誤差高的情形，其誤差約百分之零點肆至百分之負壹點陸之間，而我們的模式誤差則為0.001%，明顯優於國外其他學者所提模式。

The purpose of this study is to measure body surface area (BSA) using a 3D scanner and to derive a BSA estimation formula for indigenous adults. The 3D scanner measures approximately 200,000 body surface points. The total error in BSA measurement due to scanning measurement error and software computational error is less than 2%. Eight hundred adults were measured, and the results were used to derive a BSA estimation formula. The results seem to be comparable to previous data that are measured using traditional methods. The BSA estimation model of this study also validated using 300 new measurements along with the formula proposed in previous research work. The result suggests that the proposed formula fit better for indigenous adults.
