英文摘要 |
This article analyzes the representation of Sacajawea mainly in Diane Glancy's Stone Heart but without excluding other writings, such as Anna Lee Waldo's Sacajawea and Joseph Bruchac's "Sacajawea: The Story of Bird Woman and the Lewis and Clark Expedition". Based on "I-am-we" discourse, this article aims at the in-depth interpretation of Native American discourse and, in particular, at the subjectivity and identity of Sacajawea as a Native American in Glancy's "Stone Heart". |
