賦權（ empowerment ）理念的發展始於1970 年代，主要運用於促進少數 民族或女性權利，以及訓練、教育、組織發展的計劃。本文將針對賦權的意 義、理論根據、相關研究與運用作深入的探討，希望能傳達賦權的理念並使 其廣泛的運用在護理實務上。

The development of empowerment has started to develop in 1970s, and it was used to improve the rights of minority races or women as well as to plan the program of training, education and organization development. This paper is aimed to have further discussion on the meaning of empowerment, the theory, the relating researches and the applications. It s hoped that the concept of empowerment can be conveyed and widely used in the practicing of nursing profession.
