Objective: an assessment of the effects of motivation, indulgence and satisfaction of hospital volunteers in voluntary work Methods: The study employed a questionnaire survey technique with hospital volunteers from one regional hospital as the survey subjects. A total of 145 valid questionnaires were recovered and multiple regression analysis was performed. Results: The longer the years of service for hospital volunteers, the higher the levels of internal drive and autonomy, and the higher the internal satisfaction of volunteer work (p<0.01). The higher the intensity of internal drive, work participation and autonomy of work, the higher the external satisfaction (p<0.001). Conclusion: Hospitals must be more positive regarding the topic of the satisfaction of volunteers. If hospitals could utilize the volunteers more efficiently, they could advantage. Through the creation of work environments and organization identification, hospitals could attract more volunteers and bring more benefits for patients. |
