Objectives: Learning organization not only can survive and develop in this knowledge-based competitive era but has also become the model in pursuit of success and continuous operation to businesses. Whether the learning organization can be implemented well or not depends on the staff in organization. How much the personality of the employee can affect the learning phenomenon in an organization is worthy of being studied. This research will penetrate to the medical industry to study the relevance between personality characteristics and the effect of implementing learning organization, and then provide the medical industry a reference in selecting suitable employees and conducting a learning organization. Methods: This research is conducted in the view of northern, southern, central, and eastern areas, total five hospitals, by mailing the questionnaires, and then using the descriptive statistics to analyze the sample basic data. We also use one-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Analysis, Regression Analysis to check the relevance and influence between individual attributes, personal characteristics and the implementation of learning organization. Results: The demographic segmentation, such as age, education, position and seniority, shows high correlation with the implementation of learning organization. The personality characteristics of openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, and agreeableness show an obvious positive correlation with the effect of implementing the learning organization model, but neuroticism shows a negative correlation with it. To sum up, openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism can affect the implementation of learning organization. Conclusions: The research discovered that the higher the education level, the more outstanding effect of implementing the learning organization. In the future, when the Medical Organizations recruit and select the employees, we should regard education level as a consideration, Furthermore, we should also encourage our employee to take advanced courses Another research also discovered that the personality characteristics will influence the effect of implementing learning organization; therefore, when the Medical Organizations recruit and select the employees, we should include the personality characteristics for the reference in order to find suitable employees in Medical Organizations. |
