Using Ridit analysis to investigate the cognitive knowledge and attitude about the e-learning system of the medical personnel E-learning system is a new way of learning which has many advantages including reducing costs, real-time, convenience and flexibility, etc. Major medical institutions started to import the e-learning system to strengthen the abilities of the staff in recent years. The cognitive knowledge and attitude about the e-learning system of the staff will have significant impact on the effect of the e-learning system performance. The purpose of this study was to explore the cognitive knowledge and attitude about using the e-learning system between the different medical professional staff and analyzed the opinions of them for the user-friendly interface and the implementation effectiveness. The study sample came from the medical staff of one regional hospital in central Taiwan, including the medical technical staff, nursing staff, administrative staff, the researcher-developed structured questionnaire was administrated by internet was used to analyze the cognitive knowledge and attitude. The study population consists of 988 people and there are 521 effective questionnaires were gathered, the response rate is 52.7%, and the ridit analysis was employed for the statistical analysis for the data. It was found that the opinions tend towards Disagree and Strongly Disagree upon the items of “The e-learning classes can meet your need” and “the interface of the all of the e-learning system is user friendly” in three different groups of medical personnel and reached the statistically significant difference. (P<0.05) However, the distribution of the opinions topics is not the same between the different groups of medical personnel, the results showed that the it is necessary to enhance the user-friendly interface of the e-learning system to promote the acceptance of the medical personnel and the learning effectiveness of e-learning system. |
