建構以病人安全為基礎之針灸治療資訊系統

Establishing a patient-safety-based acupuncture information system, a case study of medical center in southern Taiwan

我國近年來民眾在就醫行為改變及政府政策支持下，傳統醫學逐漸受到重視。因此，提昇中醫醫療服務品質及就醫安全越來越受到關注，而針灸是中醫治療常用的處置，因此在病人安全議題上成為關注的焦點。本研究根據個案現行中醫針灸治療作業流程，經過文獻查證、分析、整理，並參考衛生署公告之針灸治療內容，發展一套以病人為中心之針灸治療資訊系統，結合資訊科技的應用與醫療資訊的即時掌握原則，將診間醫囑連結至治療室的醫療照護機，電針機及生命徵象等監視設備結合，透過系統自動偵測，輔助醫護人員更有效率、更安全的執行針灸治療，減少過程中可避免的醫療疏失，為病人安全與醫療品質把關，並運用資訊科技將病人資料的整合、收集、提供醫師臨床研究之用。此系統開發之經驗，亦可作為業界建置相關系統之參考。

With more patient seeking Chinese medical service and the support of government, the traditional Chinese medicine becomes more and more popular in Taiwan which brought attentions to the service quality and security of the traditional medicine. Acupuncture is one of the most commonly used treatment in Chinese medicine, therefore, the safety of acupuncture becomes a focus in discussing patient safety. This study investigated the current operations of acupuncture in the case hospital, analyzed and summarized related literature, and followed the content of acupuncture announced by the department of health to develop a patient-centered acupuncture information system. With integrating the technology and medical information, the doctors’ prescription can be linked to the life Surveillance equipment such as the Electronic acupuncture machine to automatically detect and ensure the treatment quality and safety of patients. The acupuncture information system can not only help the medical staffs to perform their job more efficient and safer to prevent medical errors but also integrate the patient information for further clinical study. Finally, the developing experience of the acupuncture information system can serve as a reference for potential user to establish similar systems.
