The purpose of this study was to investigate the knowledge, attitude, behavior and courses demand concerning sexual education. The method adopted in this study was questionnaire survey. The sample was the third grade students taken from the public junior high school of Sanchung City of Taipei County. The sample expected the completion of this study was 520. The response rate was 84.4%. The study was based on 431 (82.9%) valid questionnaires. The main findings of this study were: 1. The correct rate of knowledge was 70.65%. The tendency of attitude was near unbiased. The disposition of attitude was close to conservation. The courses demand concerned about sexual education was physical knowledge, psychical knowledge, sexual diseases, violation on sex, homosexuality. 2. The study achievements in school, family social economic status were significant differences in knowledge. The distinct gender was significant differences in attitude. There were no significant differences in behaviors. The study achievements in school were significant differences in courses demand. 3. There was the positive relation not only between knowledge and attitude but also between attitude and course demand. There was the negative relation not only between attitude and behavior but also between knowledge and behavior. 4. A11 the related factors of correct predicable rate have 23.5% in knowledge and 3.8% in attitude, 1.3% in behavior and 1.5% in course demand. The study achievements in school have an obvious influence in knowledge, behavior, course demand except attitude. The gender has an obvious influence in attitude. |
