中醫病人人格特質與用藥行為關係之研究

The Relationship Study of Personality and Medicine Use Behavior in the Chinese Medical Sick

近幾年在政府推動正確用藥教育的努力下，無論是正確用藥教育資源中心的醫院藥局或是與民眾用藥息息相關的社區藥局，都可發現藥師在學校、社區及一般民眾的用藥安全教育上扮演著重要的關鍵角色。綜觀國內對病人用藥行為之相關研究，都只針對一般民眾用藥行為之調查而已。本研究進一步深入了解每位中醫病人是否因為人格特質之不同，在其用藥行為上是否有所差異。此為本研究的最主要研究動機。因此，本研究將探討中醫病人人格特質和用藥行為之間的關聯性。本研究經由問卷施測及實證分析，獲致研究結論：內控與外控人格特質有顯著負相關；內控人格特質與用藥行為為正相關；外控人格特質與用藥行為為負相關；人格特質本身會影響中醫病人對用藥行為之感受程度；即內控人格特質的病人能提升用藥行為，外控人格特質的病人將會減少用藥行為；中醫病人的背景變項與內外控人格特質無顯著差異；以及中醫病人之內外控人格特質與其背景變項之間也無顯著差異。依據研究結論，提出建議如下：重視中醫病人用藥行為之正確性；中醫師應了解病人之人格特質，以提升病人正確之用藥行為；以及中醫師對於不同病人的用藥方式施應有所區隔，並提出適合措施來提升中醫病人們之用藥成效。

This study aims to focus on patients of Chinese medicine and explore the correlation between the personality traits of Chinese medicine patients and their medicine usage behaviors. Our findings are as follows: Internal locus control and external locus control personalities have apparent negative correlations: internal locus control personality has a positive correlation with medicine usage while external locus control personality has a negative correlation with medicine usage. Personality trait itself affects how patients of Chinese medicine use their medicines. Patients with internal locus control personality will follow their allotted dosage while patients with external locus control personality will take less than their allotted dosage. There is no apparent correlation between the backgrounds of patients and their locus control personality. From these findings, our suggestions are: Make sure that the patients are following their allotted dosage. Doctors of Chinese medicine need to understand the patients’ personality traits in order to help them exhibit correct medicine usage behavior along with existing policies.
