Questions Relating to the Beijing Intellectual Property Court

北京知識產權法院的成立處於建立創新型國家與全面推進依法治國兩個重要節點背景下，其建立不僅僅著眼於加強知識產權保護，支持創新驅動，更旨在以知識產權審判機制改革為先導，推動司法體制改革，促進依法治國。北京知識產權法院在法院設置、管理體制、審判機制上有諸多創新，這些為我國探索更為合理有效的知識產權審判體系提供了指引。

The establishment of the Beijing intellectual property court was carried out along the two important background aspects of both ‘establishment of innovation-oriented nation’ and ‘comprehensive advancement of governance by rule of law’, the said establishment not only focuses on the enhancement of intellectual property protection and support of innovation driving force, but more importantly towards the precursory reform of intellectual property trial system, so as to promote the reform of judicatory regime, and eventually the facilitation of governance by rule of law. The Beijing intellectual property court has displayed a variety of creativities regarding court setting, management system as well as trial system, such progress points towards a clear direction to which a more reasonable and effective intellectual property trial regime can be explored.
