The Economic Challenges of the European Unitary Patent

隨著歐盟單一專利制度的通過，這項新的專利制度將設置於歐洲，並於2014年1月1日生效。本文旨在介紹與單一專利所連結的經濟要點。我們的重點便是同時說明其優勢以及弊端。我們也會特別說明，盡管對提出申請的企業而言，單一專利能節省經濟上的開支，但是這並非必然對所有成員國都有利。

With the adoption of the European unitary patent which could come into force on 1 January 2014, a new patent system is taking place in Europe. This paper’s objective is to present the economic issues related to the European unitary patent. We also emphasize on its benefits and the disadvantages. We also demonstrate that, even if the European unitary patent could generate interests in favor of the filing companies, but it’s not necessarily beneficial for all member countries.
