The Uniform Commercial Code of United States is an undoubtedly successful Code and is useful to the economic recovery in the United States. Analyzing the links between the Code and its first reporter--Llewellyn, we can get a further insight into the personality of Llewellyn. The Code which was born in a country of common law tradition, a slightly unconventional and exotic demonstrates a flexible and pragmatic style of the Codification history of United States, and was the highest interpretation to Llewellyn who was famous in the two legal systems and promoting the legal realism actively.
