Cultural landscape is created during the process of interaction between human and the natural environment. The landscape of traditional rural settlement, combined with local resident's life style, becomes a unique local enological community. This research based on the Hakka Ba-Yin musician in Meinong mainly discusses the interactive relationship between the artists and the settlement environment. The research focuses on the performance practice of Meinong Hakka Ba-Yin, field arrangements, morphology of music, chupai classification and the changes in the field environment. The article is structured by using thick description and interpretation to discuss the Hakka Ba-Yin, human behavior, technology, ceremony and events. Moreover, the influence of the Hakka Ba-Yin on human and local environment is thoroughly discussed. The conclusion shows that the development of the Hakka Ba-Yin cultural landscape is accumulated by participations, life experiences and emotional memory. Also, the Hakka Ba-Yin cultural landscape is to interpret the culture meaning of Hakka and to rebuild the cultural identity. |
