From the managerial perspective of modern countries with imported labor force, the development and control of foreign labor force has been an essential part of labor market policy. The recognition and protection of foreign labors' rights are also important indicators that reflect the countries' civility and humanity. This study specifically examined the conditions of the current labor laws and social security that apply to the blue collared foreign labors. While examining the defects and difficulties of the current domestic policies, the international labor and social agreement, as well as Japanese government's practical experience in protecting rights of the foreign labors were referred in order to make the future relevant legislation. |
