新北市民眾醫療需求之探討

Exploring the Citizen Medical Needs in New Taipei City

本研究旨在瞭解新北市民眾之醫療需求，以作為建構符合社區健康服務規劃與提供之參考。採橫斷式調查研究法，於新北市之中和、永和、板橋、土城等區域進行方便取樣，回收有效問卷計1，847份。研究結果發現：男性最常看診科目為外科（40.3%）、女性較希望醫院提供社區義診服務（29.9%）；年齡較高者較常看診科目為外科或婦科；板橋地區民眾對醫院提供課程講座的需求最高（46.5%）；教育程度較高者有較大比率看過皮膚科，以及希望有課程講座；無業者（59.3%）最常看外科，家管者（63.9%）和學生（63.7%）最常看內科。有七成受訪者希望有健康諮詢的相關服務、僅有23%成人每年會接受定期健康檢查。建議新北市之醫療機構未來可加強社區義診服務、課程講座及老人安養照護服務，並推廣民眾定期接受健康檢查的必要性，以期達到疾病預防及健康促進之目的。This study aimed to explore the medical needs in New Taipei City in order to provide background information for planning community health services. This study used a cross-sectional survey, with convenience sampling of residents from the New Taipei City districts, including Yonghe, Zhonghe, Banqiao, Tucheng. A total of 1, 847 valid questionnaires were retrieved. The results showed that male respondents visited surgical services (40.3%) most, while females expected hospitals to provide more free community clinics (29.9%). Older respondents requested surgical or gynecological services more. Respondents from Banqiao district demanded more health education classes (46.5%). Respondents with a higher educational level were more likely to visit dermatology clinics and expected hospitals to provide health education classes. Unemployed respondents (59.3%) visited surgical services most, while house wives (63.9%) and students (63.7%) sought services in internal medicine most. Approximately 70% of the respondents expected health counseling related services. Only 23% of the adults had a yearly health check-up. The study findings suggest that medical institutions in New Taipei City can strengthen their services in free community clinics, public health education classes, and elderly care. Also they can facilitate regular health check-up in the community to prevent disease and promote health.
