Due to the success of highly activity antiretroviral therapy, the AIDS/HIV disease has become a chronic disease. However, the success in treatment depends on perfect medicine adherence. Therefore, adherence to medical regiment is an important issue in AIDS/HIV nursing care process. The concept analysis had emphasized in this article. Steps of concept analysis from Walker and Avant were used to analyze the adherence to medical regiment of AIDS/HIV (+) patients. The conclusions from literature reviews were categorized into three defined attribute patterns: action, attitude, and relationship. By case analysis, the domain of concept attribute was ensured. By analysis the antecedent, facilitate factors, and the result the concept framework was formed. In addition, by listing all empirical indicators of adherence and measurement tools, it will assist to develop nursing theory related to medicine adherence and more efficient measurement tools. The results can be applied to the research of medicine adherence intervention and nursing practice. |
