本篇故事是作者自身的家庭勞動經驗聯繫上災區組合屋婦女於重建過程中的生存處境，而發生一種經驗對照與交融下的學習與反省。讀者從文中的故事裡，可以認識到婦女們因身上皆承載著某種社會性與個別性的弱勢條件，促使她們願意以集體的相互扶持方式，一起開拓不利就業條件限制下所形成的經濟與生活困境。文中描述的另一脈絡在於「巧女工坊」的創設意義與學習。作者除描繪婦女為生存所展現的自立謀生意義外，也反映出現存的工作邏輯與商業機制中，所經驗到的矛盾與問題。這些矛盾與問題，促使婦女們學習去創造弱勢的資源以及連結弱勢的互助網絡，而這也是弱勢相互賦力的意義。

This story is about how the author learned and reflected through the integration of her own labor experiences in her family and the rebuilding of the women in the disaster Assembly House Community. Readers will acknowledge how the women worked together under sexual and social disadvantages. They created opportunities under economic and living difficulties. The other theme is about the purpose and the learning process of “chiau-niu working house”. The author not only described how the women self-supported themselves, but also reflected on the inconsistencies and problems of the working society. The inconsistencies and problems forced the women to learn how to create resources under disadvantages and to team up. This is the meaning of mutual support among the disadvantaged.
