一位胃腸道基質腫瘤病患之護理經驗

Nursing Management of a Patient with a Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumo

本文主要在呈現，照顧一位胃腸道基質腫瘤病患之護理經驗，護理期間由92年11月11 日至92年12月02日，藉由觀察、會談及身體評估等技巧收集資料，並以Gordon十一項健康功能型態做一整體性評估，確立了個案的護理需求，經評估後發現病患主要的護理問題有疼痛、健康尋求行為以及焦慮。在護理過程中筆者除了監測其生理變化之外，並提供足夠的心理支持及護理指導，讓個案及其家屬正確瞭解此疾病過程及自我照顧的方法和相關注意事項。在結合醫療團隊之整體性與連續性之醫療照護後，不僅協助個案及家屬渡過疾病之急性期，且促進了其生活品質，願此個案之照護經驗，能與大家分享。

This report describes the nursing care for a patient who had a gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST). The nursing period was from November 11th 2003 to December 2nd 2003. The eleven item Gordon Functional Health Measure was employed as the assessment tool. By means of observation, interviews and physical assessment, the patient was confirmed as having a number of nursing problems including pain, health seeking behavior and anxiety. A holistic management approach using appropriate nursing knowledge and an interdisciplinary approach was then initiated. The initial goals were to help the patient and his family to understand the disease process and establish the best approach to self-care. The optimal goals were to provide symptomatic relief and maintenance of comfort. The patient recovered from the acute disease process and was discharged. It is hoped that by sharing this case report, including the nursing experience, others will be better equipped with adequate professional knowledge when caring for patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors.
