This case report indicating a nursing experience ofcaring a 89-years male patient with intracranial hemorrhage post craniotomy in an ICU. Due to brain injury with neurology dysfunction, it resulted in the influence of this patient, physical movement, self-care, bowel function, and family role. The primary nurse performed the assessments of health problems by Gordon model, and specializing in physical, mental, social and spiritual assessment of the patient. By the above approaches, I tried to list the health problems of this patient, including nutrition imbalance, change of bowel habits, physical impairment, deficit in self-care, and anxiety of his caregivers. To reduce this patient suffering, render his steady recovery, and ease caregivers?anxiety, individualized assistance and instruction by pro-fessional nursing experts are needed. |
