The aim of the research was to explore the antecedents and consequences of work, family, and learning conflict (WFLC) among adult learners. The present study adopted the theoretical perspective of conservation of resource (COR). Especially, this research focused on the exploration the relationships among the resources (working, family, learning resources), WFLC, and its consequences (job satisfaction and subjective-well-being). The subjects were adult learners with bachelor and master degrees in the northern Taiwan (n = 465). The results revealed that (1) resources had a protective effect for adult learners. Learning resources were negatively related to WFLC and positively related to SWB, whereas work resources were positively related to job satisfaction. (2) WFLC had a detrimental effect on job satisfaction and SWB. Implications for further researches and implications were discussed. |
