Clinical psychologists’s on-job-training has had a clear legal source since the law of psychologist enacted on November 12, 2001. According to it’s content, a clinical psychologist started engaging in his profession and renewing his license had something to do with his on-job-training. In addition, Department of Health designed an intact medical-personnel-training policy including junior staff’s general ability training, senior staff’s continuous edcation and professional ability advance system for all different medical professions. As a member of medical professions in Taiwan, clinical psychologist could not escape from this policy and had to cooperate and compete with other professions at the same time. In such dynamic situation, how to benefit to comsumers, clinical psychologists, other professions and government depended on clear profession’s developmental direction and solid under-job-training. To sum up, this was an article that reviewed on-job-training and its future needs of clinical psychologist in Taiwan from three different perspectives including laws ,mental health policies of government and practical status of on-job-training of clinical psychologist |
