Although it is hard to keep off touching or observing the private pelvic areas during the inspecting courses of the gyn/obstetric clinics, it is important to preserve patient’s privacy. The project aims at improving the satisfaction of the out patient preserves their personal privacy accepting the pelvic examination survey in pelvic. The mean of satisfaction, by the current investigation and analysis, measures preserved the privacy when patient encountered the pelvic examination survey is only 72.7%; the reasons included inadequate spaces for the examination, 47.9% of execution rate, and lacking covers and measures of preserving privacy. The measures included closely fit curtains, monitoring methods and a “forbid in and out” prompts, special-purpose pantskirts for pelvic examination survey, and education for personal privacy. After implementation, execution rate and satisfaction increased to 95.7% and 92.0% respectively. The program revealed that the program is effective in improving patient’s privacy during pelvic exam in the medical environment. |
