英文摘要 |
This article described the nursing experience of an infertile woman who had twins’ pregnancy. The caring period was from May 1 to 22, 2005. The information was collected by observing, interviewing, and physical assessment. The verbal and non-verbal expression of the patient were recorded, sorted, analyzed, and induced. The Gordon 11-item Functional Health Pattern was used to evaluate the patient’s health problem. From Maslow’s theory of need, the patient was detected with three major nursing problems, including neurolysis, sleep pattern disturbance, and anxiety. The patient was provided with self-assessment skill, family support, experience sharing, education on bedside child birthing, and visit to the neonatal intensive care units in order to help her positively face various discomforts resulting from hospitalization. |
