This research is to analyze the multiple changes of wooden craft industry in Lu-Gang through its historical background, then establish the research base of the wooden craft industry in the future. The conclusions of the research are as follows: (1) In the beginning of Q'ing dynasty, living equipments such as furniture were almost purchased from the mainland of China, and temple carpenters were centralized to Lu-Gang, as a first settlement of woodworkers and a base for the future development of wooden craft industry. (2) The center of wooden craft industry changes from the establishment of temples and houses in the early period to Buddhist statues, sculptures, furniture and so on, which rise generally. Further, wooden craft industry met a mutual influence from Chinese culture, Japanese culture and Western culture in Japanese occupation era. (3) Wooden craft industry's image is slowly transited from 'economic pattern' to 'cultural pattern' for industrial promotion in Lu-Gang. |
