The purpose of this paper is intended to study the cultural difference in design ability between aboriginal and Taiwanese students. Most of people supposed that the design ability of aboriginal student is better than Taiwanese students', so the study is trying to identify any significance difference between them. On the other hand, the study of cultural difference is very important in product design, and the concept of multi-culture also become a key issue to the impact of 'globalization' and 'localization' in design field. Therefore, results from this study can be provided design educators with an idea of how to teach and plan a design course for the cultural difference students. |
