惡性下咽腫瘤的麻醉－－病例報告

Anesthesia for the Patient with Hypopharyngeal Cancer--A Case Report

惡性下咽腫瘤在耳鼻喉科是一較少發生的疾病（十萬分之二點六），但在耳鼻喉科的惡性腫瘤所佔的比例大約為百分之三十左右。由於最近煙酒的大量消耗，病例數也逐年增加，特別是女性及年輕人，這是值得大家深思的問題。因為解剖位置的關係，此類惡性腫瘤在麻醉最令人難以處理的是呼吸道的維持，本文在探討如何給予此類病人最適當的插管及維持通暢的呼吸道，以避免其他的併發症。

Although the incidence of hypopharyngeal cancer is 2.6 per 10,000 patients in all diseases at the ENT department, it is very high (about 30%) in all ENT cancers. Hypopharyngeal cancers have been strongly associated with tobacco smoking and alcohol abuse, which is the cause of increasing prevalence including those patients among women and younger individuals of both sexes. Due to die tricky location of these ENT cancers, it is very difficult to intubate for anesthesia. In this case report, we will discuss the improved technique for intubation to decrease the complications for the day-surgery patients with ENT cancers.
