血管緊縮素轉化酶基因多形性在臺灣地區布農族原住民及漢人分佈之不同

Distribution of Angiotensin I-Converting Enzyme Gene Polymorphism of Bunun and Han Populations in Taiwan

血管緊縮素轉化酶之插入/刪除多形性與血漿及細胞內ACE之含量具有其相關性，並與心肌梗塞、心臟擴大及心肌肥大病變有其關聯性，近年來許多研究亦顯示 ACE之刪除多形性與冠狀動脈疾病、腦血管疾病及急性腦梗塞早期死亡具有相關性。本研究即針對居住於信義鄉性別、年齡分佈相當之布農族原住民與平地漢人各195人，進行ACE基因多形性及對偶基因頻率之比較，結果發現刪除型同形合子基因型 （homozygous DD genotype）刪除型（D）對偶基因（allele frequency）之頻率，在布農族原住民均比漢人要來得高（分別為26.7 vs. 9.2及53.8 vs. 34.6），此差異以卡方檢定進行分析顯示均有極顯著之差異存在（p<0.001），此結果顯示遺傳上之差異可能對於流行病之分佈具有其影響力。

Insertion/deletion (I/D) polymorphism in angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE) gene has been reports to associate with plasma and cellular ACE levels and to associate with risk for myocardial infarction, dilated, and hypertrophic cardio-myopathy. The ACE/DD genotype has recently been reported to associate with coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular disease, and early death from acute cerebral infarction. In this population association study, we compared the distribution of the ACE genotypes and allele frequency in 195 Han and 195 Bunun individuals categorized by age and sex. The frequencies of homozygous deletion (DD) genotype and deletion allele were greater on Bunun than in Han group (26.7 vs. 9.2 and 53.8 vs. 34.6, respectively), the differences were significant by x2 analysis (both P<0.001). The results indicated the genetic differences might contribute to the epidemiology.
