《詩經》「我心匪鑒，不可以茹」「茹」字舊解述評

A Study on the Past Explanations of the Word “Ru” in the Verses “My Mind is Not a Mirror; It Cannot Equally Receive All mpressions” of “Classic of Poetry”

「我心匪鑒，不可以茹」句見《詩‧邶風‧柏舟》，其中「茹」之解詁，自漢以降，從毛《傳》釋「茹」為「度」者較多，然亦有「茹，納也」、「茹，葅也」、「茹，也」等不同之訓解；經彙收相關資料，並從句構、語境等判讀，釋「茹」為「納」，方稱允妥之詁。

The verses “My mind is not a mirror; It cannot equally receive all impressions” are from “Classic of Poetry - Bei Feng - Bo Zhou.” For the explanations of the word “Ru,” since the Han Dynasty, Mao “Chuan” and most of the scholars explained “Ru” as “Du (tolerate).” However, the explanations also include “accept,” “include,” and “receive.” After the collection of relevant data, this study judged the sentence structure and context, and suggested that the appropriate explanation of “Ru” should be “receive.”
