The relationship between mentors and the apprentices is defined as experienced and inexperienced, through this, the apprentices are provided assistance professionally, daily, mentally and in many other ways. In workplaces, the freshmen can be quickly adopted socialization and learn professional skills by the help of the firms. However, the mentorship is not only widely applied in the workplace but also on campus. It is an important part among all the relationships, specially for advisers and graduate students. The study is going to analyze the forming and interacting among the mentorship of advisers and the graduate students in order to observe and to understand which type the professors belong to. Regarding to the former research of Mentor Relationships and Leadership Theory, most of them are quantitative oriented and targeted at business studies. The research from academic relatively exists few. Consequently, this research is based on the qualitative interviews. The interviewers are 20 advisers that 11 of them have Ph. D. certifications in business administration and 3 are females. The ratio of advisers from national universities and private universities is 1 to 3. Ten of them have been or are in the administrative positions while they were or are advising their Graduate students’ thesis. The same amount has not been in the administrative position. The results of analyses provided two important conclusions as follows: (1) The advisers with the administrative positions tend to do more negative exceptions management of transactional leadership. (2) Advisers of coaching leadership emphasize more on individual development growth of the students, instruct and guide the students in the meantime. |
