臺北市就業變動的經濟基礎分析

Employment Change in Taipei: An Economic Base Analysis

本文探討有關臺北市就業變動的問題，首先介紹影響都會勞工遷移的區位因素，接著利用都市經濟學中研究都市勞動力經常使用的經濟基礎理論，實證分析臺北市各行職業的區位商數，以認定帶動臺北市就業成長的基礎產業，並以所計算的區位商數進行就業乘數分析。實證結果顯示，臺北市基礎就業人數變動實際上能顯著影響非基礎就業人數的，只有商業和金融保險與工商服務業，兩者的就業乘數分別為1.22與6.07，即這兩種產業的就業人數每增加1人，將分別使非基礎總就業人數增加1.22人與6.07人。

This paper mainly analyzes change of employment in Taipei. First,under consideration of Vocational factors, we introduces three types ofurban employment model Second, economic base theory is applied to study theemployment change in Taipei. Comparing location quotient with growth rate ofevery industry and profession, we find that Taipei's basic industries show adeclining trend. This implies that employment of Taipei is in an adverseposition. At the same time, we examine industries which are crucial to theemployment growth of Taipei. During the period of 1979-1996, commerce industry and finance, insurance, real estate and business services industry, both aremain generators of Taipei's employment growth among basic industries. Theirmultiplier effects of employment are 1.22 and 6.07 respectively. Thisimplies that increment of one worker on both industries will generate 1.22 and 6.07 employment opportunity respectively.
