The purpose of this study is to investigate the internal meaning construction of flow experience, and to develop a flow experience scale for the domestic road running participants to evaluate the experience of involved in road race events and provide the use of research. The method is questionnaire survey and the subjects are the 2011 Tainan Ancient Capital International Marathon 755 participants, with the AMOS 7.0 Version of statistical software to analyze the data. This theoretical model has been working properly overall. The scale consists of five subscales presenting five internal meanings of flow experience: 'clear goals', 'challenge and skill,' 'operational control', 'sense of time change' and 'positive emotions' through confirmatory factor analysis. The results show that the scale can pass for its overall model fit and the evaluation standard of reliability. The conclusion shows that the scale works well with both construct validity and reliability, showing great propriety for measuring the flow experience of road running and therefore applicability to further research. |
