美國藝術教育的發展與趨勢

Developments and Trends of American Art Education

藝術不管在價值上或者教育應用上，都扮演著關鍵的角色。然而隨著全球在地化的世界趨勢，藝術教育不僅得瞭解國際趨勢，同時也需保存本國既有的文化財，妥善地發展政策體系。因此，本文藉由描述美國藝術教育的發展，提出四點建議：一、國家應實際地支持藝術教育的發展，促進人才培養；二、藝術教育應融入社會生活，善用多元的人力與資源；三、藝術教育應配合時代發展，提升其實用性與價值性；四、推動以藝術教育為核心的人文教育，創造文化社會。本文期盼能夠藉此掌握美國的發展脈絡，並為我們台灣藝術教育提供相關的參考訊息。

Art plays an important and valuable role in the applications of education. However, with the worldwide trends of globalization, art education should not only follow the international trends and developments, but also aim to preserve existing cultures and develop an appropriate policy of the system. Therefore, this article describes and analyzes the condition of American art education, and provides four conclusions: 1. The government should support development of art education more practically and promote the personnel training. 2. Art education should be introduced into civil life and promoted by multiple manpower and resources. 3. Art education should be developed with the current trends in order to enhance its practicability and value. 4. Carry out humanistic education which takes art education as a core and build a cultural society. We hope this article would help to grasp the context of development in U.S.A., and provide a useful reference to art education in Taiwan.
